How many implants that we carry no outrage?

Is it not true that we are willing to let us redesign
body and soul to live better?

WE UNDER NO SAINTS '

RELICS AND THE MUSEUM OF OUR DIGITAL

O signs contemporary man lives the museum of relics. Very well over the sacred remains that Rome retains a head of Via Giulia, one of the walls of the Basilica de 'Fiorentini. Just turn on the TV to cross the vast exhibition area of \u200b\u200bthe sacred bodies of our civilization.

E ' a common territory of the imagination, so rooted in' everyday experience that it is contaminated with even those who hate him and say, for any reason. Therefore impossible to avoid the sight of the floating remains of those who lapped "grace" of the machine producing hallucinatory reality.

N on know how inspiring certainty of eternal life, those living statues, the integrated media visionaries of tears every day from oblivion mere mortals whom it is intended to carry them in the limbo of living mummified. It 'a process of preserving human flesh, is the result of social holiness assured that allows the passage / passing of television.

C iò today represents the greatest of ambitions, promises survival in the memory of others, even if it has little to do with the refined techniques of the masters of the past embalmers, who helped craft eternity to continue the incorruptibility of the body touched by grace, charisma and heroic virtues ... in collaboration with ITER and Contemporary Art Gallery Andrea

From 15 to 29 May 2010

Opening hours 15 May 19

Two weeks devoted to the relationship between humanity and technology in a context that preserves the sacred treasures and valuable relics. The Museum of the Florentines, in the Basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini near Via Giulia, the festival hosts machines and flesh, "an event of contamination between art, debates, film screenings and dance performances, which finds its conceptual matrix in the volume of Gianluca Nicoletti and Stefano Moriggi "Because the technology makes us human, the flesh in his rewriting synthetic and digital, "published in 2009 by Sironi.

The initiative begins at the "Night of Museums", May 15 to 19, with the inauguration, in collaboration with the Contemporary Art Gallery Andrea di Vicenza, the exhibition unless the boat, that the Sicilian artist compares holy relics and fragments of contemporary humanity. 30 works, produced with advanced techniques and materials that also reflected the transformation of painting and its media, to communicate how, through metamorphosis and grafts of mechanical elements with anthropomorphic figures, the amazing scientific discoveries is evidence essential for the evolution of nature and the human being.

To explore the underlying themes of the initiative, to complement the exhibition, a talk show with a reading by the journalist Gianluca Nicoletti visionary and philosopher of science Stephen Moriggi with many characters and guests, including Richard Luna, director of the Wired magazine, Mark Pizzo, director of the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento Piazza Venezia in Rome, Giuseppe Sansonna, film critic.

The seductive space turns into a subterranean architectural "glass of water" that will reflect the same area in an image that can be inhabited by those reflected in it, making suggestions through lights and sounds.

The museum will be exhibited also preside zoomorphic designer collection of Precious Giampietro Metamorphosis. Ladybug-shaped chairs, swallow, ant, whale and cobra are inspired by nature, literature and personal memory of the architect Bari, who moved to Paris, where memories are mixed with suggestions of authors such as Kafka , Calvin, Pascal and produce original creations, suggesting a user ' sensory experience, emotional and real.

program machines and meat "includes discussions / talk show (19 and 27 May at 21, May 26 to 18), a film festival license cyber (20, 21, 26 and 28 May at 21) and a big closing event on May 29 dedicated to contemporary art.
